SWAN India Project Manager – Part-Time Position
The Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN), a UK-based non-profit, is seeking a part-time India Project Manager. SWAN is uniquely focused on increasing the awareness and acceleration of smart, data-driven solutions in drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater networks worldwide. We are seeking a standout individual with excellent organisational, customer service, and research skills. The position is remote, requiring flexible hours with regular contact with SWAN’s leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support and coordination for the SWAN India Alliance (ex. preparing slides, taking minutes during calls, writing recaps)
- Take a supporting role in coordinating regional webinar and workshop events (planning, admin, recruitment, etc.)
- Assist with new Member recruitment and retention (ex: answer questions and assist SWAN Members as needed)
- Research and write short blogs on regional challenges, industry trends, potential partnerships and funding opportunities
- Provide marketing support to SWAN’s global team across different channels: social media, newsletters, member interviews, SWAN blog
- Work closely with SWAN’s India Chair (based in the UK) and SWAN Ambassador (based in India)
Requirements:
- Be based in India
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong relationship management
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask
- Superior attention to detail
- Previous experience with WordPress, Canva, Slack, Zoom is a plus
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills
- Undergraduate degree
