About the Department

Infrastructure SA (ISA) is an independent advisory body tasked with ensuring South Australia has robust long-term planning and transparent decision-making for critical public and supporting private infrastructure projects across the State. ISA provides independent advice to assist the South Australian Government to plan, identify and prioritise the delivery of major infrastructure across the State.

Infrastructure SA is a statutory authority established to provide independent advice to assist the Government in identifying and prioritising the planning and delivery of major infrastructure across the State to support economic growth and enhance liveability. 
 

The Northern Water project is being designed to provide a reliable and sustainable new water supply for a broad range of industries including mining, defence, hydrogen and pastoral. Northern Water is expected to deliver significant economic returns to the State and reduce reliance on precious water resources like the Great Artesian Basin and the River Murray.

Role Details

Reporting to the Director Engagement and Communications, the Stakeholder Engagement Advisor is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of a program of stakeholder engagement activities for the Northern Water project (NWP), based on the Stakeholder Engagement Plan. The role operates within a complex and highly sensitive environment on a high-profile project. The role coordinates engagement activities across a broad range of stakeholder groups, with the aim of creating both positive and constructive effective and consistent relationships with local communities and other key stakeholders, which supports the delivery of NWP goals, priorities and milestones. Great opportunity for a self-starter to support engagement activities delivered at a local level.

Special Conditions

  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • This role requires a National Criminal History check.
  • Out of hours work and Intrastate/interstate travel may be required.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a large project environment preferred.

Classification: ASO6 – Administrative Services Officer

Salary Range: $97,022 – $102,626 p.a.

Duration: Up to 2 years
