The Global PS&R Manager – Water role is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the Water business’s product stewardship, and regulatory processes per expectations established in DuPont Corporate Standards and aligned to the Product Safety Code of Responsible Care®.
The Global PS&R Manager leads a team focused on managing the Water Business’s product’s health, safety, and environmental impacts throughout their lifecycle. The product portfolio includes Reverse Osmosis, Nanofiltration and Ultrafiltration Membranes as well as Ion Exchange Resins. These products are used in a variety of applications including drinking water production and food contact use where region specific certifications and regulatory processes are managed.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure product stewardship and regulatory objectives, plans and goals are integrated into the business strategy and provide quarterly progress updates to the business leadership team
- Maintain global product certification and regulatory compliance by leveraging a regional team of Water Product Stewardship Specialists
- Manage and maintain a Water Business Product stewardship management program consistent with DuPont global standards and commitment to Responsible Care®
- Coordinated with corporate leveraged stewardship resource to provide expert support as needed to review and interpret relevant environmental, health and safety data.
- Lead integration of product stewardship within the end to end new product innovation process
- Lead the Water business in appropriate use of various PS&R tools to identify and manage risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities throughout the life-cycle of products
- Lead processes to monitor relevant legislation, regulation and emerging relevant trends to assure that potential impacts are analyzed and communicated within the business. Drive appropriate business response.
Your Qualification Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Science, Technology, Business Administration or a related field. MS/PhD degree is preferred
- 8+ years of experience with some aspect of Product Stewardship and/or regulatory compliance.
- Additional experience with product management, product development, regulatory, toxicology, or product certifications is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated strategic thinker with the capacity and ability to translate implications of new information to the impact to the business.
- Water product and application knowledge is preferred
- Prior people management experience is strongly preferred
- Experience working in a similar global role is preferred
- Work with sense of urgency and follow up work to meet commitments
