Location : Panchkula, Rewari and Sonipat Districts of Haryana
Bhavishya Educational and Charitable Society calls for application for strengthening the Jal Jeevan Mission in the districts of Panchkula, Sonipat and Rewari districts in the state of Haryana to enhance the reach and impact of government programmes.
Qualifications
Graduate Degree in Mass Communication / Rural Studies/ Bachelor of Arts
(Bachelor of Arts with any of the following subjects – Social Science, Science, Environmental Science, Anthropology, Geography, Communication, Cultural Studies, Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Sociology, Linguistics, Philosophy, Psychology, Social Psychology, Social Work, Development Studies, Rural Development or Management).
o Hindi / Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matriculation or Higher.
Experience
o Minimum Two Years of Experience in Community Development especially in
Participatory Approaches to Community Mobilization.
o Proven Experience in undertaking Project Management in Rural Sector,
preferably in Water Management.
o Experience in working with Government/ Semi Government / Corporate / NGOs /
Multinationals Agencies.
o Excellent Communication and Computer Skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
o Constitute/ re-constitute and Support VWSC to develop a comprehensive
community based campaign to achieve 100 % FHTC status, within the policy
frameworks of the State.
o Identify critical capacity/skill gaps among key stakeholders to promote a
community-led approach to rural water supply and facilitate the process of
bridging these gaps.
o Coordinate and organize training programs on various themes as per identified
training needs.
o Support the VWSC to facilitate regular review meetings and field monitoring
of district; block and GP level water campaigns.
o Support the VWSC in ensuring adequate supply of water supply materials and
services.
o Support the VWSC to facilitate documentation and dissemination of good
practices.
o Support the VWSC to identify appropriate indicators, design and put in place
a monitoring and evaluation system to track behavior change outcomes.
o Support the VWSC to periodically collate the data received from the field,
analyze the same and report to the concerned Executive Engineer and upload
the same online on the portal.
o Effective monitoring and evaluation of the JJM programme activities.
o Ensuring uploading of Online Data Entries.
