Job Description and Duties
This position is eligible for telework up to four days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
Under the direction of the Conservancy Project Development Manager (CPDM), the Conservancy Project Development Analyst II for the San Gabriel & Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy implements the Conservancy’s approved policies, work plans and programs. Major functions of the position include all activities related to the acquisition, development and restoration of open space, wildlife habitat, low impact recreation, watershed improvements, and related educational uses.
If filled at the Conservancy Project Development Analyst II level, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst list will be used as an appropriate list; therefore, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for both classifications to be eligible.

• Experience and/or a degree in planning, environmental science, or natural resource management or conservation
• Knowledge and interest in the principles and practices of conservation and urban green space planning
• Project planning and project management experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
