Are you seeking a career with impact? Join Samaritan’s Purse as a WASH Technical Advisor in Unity State, South Sudan. In this role you will provide technical advice to ensure quality of WASH interventions. This role develops/updates sector strategies, and plays a technical leadership role within the response team, ensuring that WASH programs are delivered with high quality and meet recognized standards.
A day in the life of a WASH Technical Advisor:

In the role of WASH Technical Advisor, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Lead the development of WASH sector response plans and budgets
- Support program managers in the preparation of timely program and donor reports on project activities in compliance with internal and external requirements
- Coach and mentor Samaritan’s Purse WASH managers, coordinators, and officers at all levels
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
- Practical, quick reasoning skills; must be able to keep communication lines open with all parties in the program
- Ability to coordinate activities with other agencies, and build and maintain positive working relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Graduate degree in Water Engineering with a master’s in Public health or equivalent, and four (4) years of international work experience in East/Central Africa
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire
