Water Analytics is seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Project Officer to join our team. The Senior Project Officer will report to the Director Water Analytics and will work with a team of over 30 surface and ground water modellers to provide expert project management for our NSW water policy and planning modelling programs and the Murray Darling Basin River Model Uplift program.
About You
Key tasks the successful applicant will undertake include:
- Oversee all aspects of project management for a range of modelling related projects
- Develop project plans and coordinate resources to implement managed projects
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation
- Identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project delivery
- Effectively communicate with modelling staff, management and internal clients to plan, negotiate for, and report on project management.
The successful applicant will have skills and experience in:
- Technical or engineering project management and delivery
- Coordinating project teams
- Project management tools and software
- On-time and on-budget project delivery
- Building relationships, collaborating and negotiating
- Client focused delivery
- Oral and written communication / reporting
- Program scale thinking.
