Our Knowledge Communications team is currently seeking to appoint a Knowledge Communications Officer to deliver education and capacity building functions for the Water Group and its stakeholders and contribute to the management of digital communications content and channels conforming to NSW Government requirements.

The role of the Knowledge Communications team is to build knowledge and understanding both inside the department and externally with our stakeholders. The team does this by implementing an internal communications and capacity building strategy for Water group staff. The team is also involved increasing stakeholder understanding of the water sector, through the development of easy to understand knowledge products. The team is responsible for the governance and maintenance of a number of digital communications channels including the departmental website and intranet.

About You

In this role, you will identify and analyse customer requirements and manage expectations regarding requests for internal communications, education and digital content support.

To be successful in this gaining this role, you will be an organised and creative individual that enjoys building knowledge and understanding of natural resources. You will require demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and “business as usual” tasks concurrently. You will have good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain networks with staff and have a commitment to customer service.
