This role will be compensated $40,000-$45,000. We have developed a payscale we are happy to share. MWA also offers generous paid time off, fully paid health, vision, and dental coverage, and a matching IRA program.
What is this role?
The Communications Specialist is a storyteller with attention to detail and the ability to convey scientific information to be understood by the general public. They are organized, self-motivated, and have a keen interest in relaying strategic messages to MWA supporters and the general public. This is a new full-time salaried role. This person must live or be willing to live within an hour from Melcroft, PA as this is a hybrid role (2 days from home, 3 days in office*). *This is the standard for all MWA staff. Given that the majority of these job duties can be performed remotely, we are willing to be flexible with the breakdown of in-office/remote work time for the right candidate.
