WASH Technical Advisor

Arlington, VA, USA 🇺🇸

Blumont is a global organization working with communities around the world to help people overcome challenges and create a foundation for progress. Our vision is a world where a community’s future is not determined by its circumstances, but by the aspirations of its people.

Whether delivering lifesaving humanitarian assistance, building the infrastructure that stabilizes communities, or creating economic opportunities for individuals and businesses, Blumont teams are committed to making a positive difference in peoples’ lives.

Blumont works across the hard and soft elements of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)—from digging wells to promoting gender-aware practices that protect well-being. WASH affects, and is affected by, all aspects of life. This is reflected in how our activities connect to humanitarian assistance, agriculture, economic development, and more.

The WASH Technical Advisor will join Blumont’s Project Quality and Learning (PQL) Division based in Arlington, Virginia. S/he is responsible for providing technical leadership, implementation support, and guidance for WASH projects across humanitarian, stabilization and development interventions. S/he will work closely with Blumont’s Business Development Department and program teams (with the global teams and HQ) to help design and provide technical support for the WASH portfolio, working closely with the humanitarian, governance and stabilization, WASH, infrastructure, and private sector development technical advisors where there is project overlap.
