Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in hydrogeology, groundwater modelling, or related fields with at least 10 years of work experience, especially proven experiences in groundwater modelling for the region with data scarcity.
- In-depth and proven knowledge and skills in using various software in groundwater modelling, including MODFLOW and Groundwater Vistas 8 version.
- Experience in aquifer yield mapping in the data scarcity region.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in using remote sensing data for groundwater study, for instance, data from GRACE, is highly desirable.
- Practical experiences with good knowledge of the Mekong riparian countries or similar tropical regions are vital assets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Immediate availability will be considered an advantage to the selection process.
