This posting is for four hydrogeologist vacancies in NC Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ) Division of Water Resources (DWR) Groundwater Management Branch.
Two newly-created positions will support state-wide groundwater investigations for emerging compounds, including PFAS compounds, and other special groundwater-related emerging compounds projects.
One position will provide support in the implementation of the Water Well Construction Standards, Underground Injection Control (UIC) and coal ash programs.
One position will be responsible for administration of the Central Coastal Plain Capacity Use Area (CCPCUA) Water Use regulatory program.
