The position is located at 320 W. 4th Street, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90013, right in the heart of downtown, next to metro rail stations and other public transportation.
Duties:
Under the close supervision of Senior Engineering Geologist the incumbent will perform engineering assignments with the Site Cleanup V Unit. The Site Cleanup Program primarily involves regulatory oversight of soil and groundwater contaminated sites under the Cost Recovery Program. The Site Cleanup Program deals with subsurface investigation and corrective action for sites which includes brownfield cases, refineries, commercial/industrial sites, aboveground/underground storage tank, Department of Defense projects and special project for preliminary responsible party searches in Superfund areas.
