What would this profile involve?
- Work closely with senior most government officers in Urban Department to address the most pressing sanitation issues across all cities and towns
- Engage with district and city level officials on need basis
- Lead a team of state level subject matter experts and support resources for implementation of sanitation agenda
- Lead state-wide implementation of various sanitation initiatives for solving complex urban development issues
- Work in collaboration with various stakeholders, including but not limited to senior government bureaucrats, ULB officials, other govt. partners and technical implementation partners basis
- Continuous programme monitoring and reporting to key stakeholders
- Manage daily operations around strengthening of sanitation reforms on a state-level
- Field visit and beneciary interaction: On-ground interactions with partners/ bene?ciaries and any other stakeholders, as required
- Lead the internal contracting, quality and risk management processes and internal compliances
- Oversee drafting of advocacy collaterals like toolkits, case studies, ready reckoner documents, etc. as per requirement
- Curate presentations for government, donors, EY’s senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Prepare project plans and share the progress on regular
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within set timelines and are of good quality and aligned to the project objectives and outcomes
Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years overall experience
- 7-10+ years of Gov. consulting, preferably in Urban/ Water Sanitation and Hygiene
- Management consulting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bi-lateral/ Multi-lateral experiences with organizations
- Candidates from alternative academic backgrounds with outstanding academic and career accomplishments and relevant work experience would also be considered
- Exposure to handling senior government stakeholders and large-scale transformational projects
- Proficiency in MS Office suite particularly Word, and PowerPoint
