announces a competition open for the position of assistant professor

in the group of research and teaching staff

at the Institute of Environmental Engineering (Department of Hydrology and Water Management)

Description of tasks in the position:

  • conducting research activities in the field of chemistry, including obtaining external funds for the implementation of research projects;
  • preparation and conducting didactic classes in the field of chemistry in Polish and English; dissemination of research results in the form of scientific publications in journals indexed in the SCOPUS database or Web of Science;
  • participation in scientific conferences/symposia (domestic and foreign);
  • participation in workshops and trainings improving didactic and research qualifications and professional competences;
  • participation in organizational work for the benefit of the unit and the university;
  • others, resulting from the profile and nature of the entity.

Requirements for candidates:

  • completed a second degree well in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering or biotechnology;
  • has at least a doctoral degree in engineering and technical sciences or exact and natural sciences;
  • has academic teaching experience in general chemistry;
  • has research experience in chemical/biotechnological/material, quantitative or qualitative analyses;
  • has scientific achievements published in scientific journals indexed in the Scopus database and/or Web of Science;
  • has scientific achievements in the form of speeches at scientific conferences and seminars;
  • knows language of Polish spoken and written;
  • knows English at a min. B2;
  • meets the criteria indicated in art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science:
  • enjoys full public rights;
  • has full legal capacity;
  • has not been convicted by a final judgment for an intentional crime or an intentional fiscal crime;
  • has not been punished with the disciplinary penalty of expulsion from work from the university with a ban on working at universities for a period of 6 months to 5 years or deprivation of the right to practice as an academic teacher for a period of 10 years.

  • during the processing of data for the purposes of recruitment conducted by the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław, there is only no automated decision-making or profiling referred to in art. 22 sec. 1 and 4 of the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, no decisions regarding the admission of a candidate for employment are made only automatically and no profiles of candidates are built;
