Research assistant in Water Quality Modelling
For Department of Ecohydrology and Biogeochemistry of the IGB (Berlin-Adlershof) we are looking for a Research Assistant in Water Quality Modeling as soon as possible, latest 01.03.2023.
The position is part of the BLE-funded interdisciplinary project RELAS. The project aims at a high-resolution quantification of water and nutrient fluxes in Germany and is characterized by close cooperation with scientific partner institutions and relevant authorities and experts of all federal states. Within a coupled modeling approach, the IGB’s contribution particularly addresses emissions from urban systems as well as transport and retention processes in surface waters. The aim is to further develop existing approaches and to implement them in a new model environment. This offers the opportunity for a close exchange with other scientists in the international environment of the department and the IGB.
