SIWI is looking for a consultant to support the Water Resources Institute of the Ministry of Water and Environment as part of the GO-WATER programme in Uganda.
The main objective of this assignment is to support the Water Resources Institute to achieve its strategic objectives in relation to communication, outreach and advocacy, the specific objectives are to:
1. Conduct an assessment to determine WRI’s needs, strengths and opportunities
regarding communication, outreach and advocacy
2. Based on the findings of the assessment, and with input from WRI leadership and
staff, design and execute short-term capacity development initiatives to be
implemented by the GO-WATER programme
3. Provide technical support and guidance to WRI staff, to design and provide a short
training on communication, outreach, and advocacy for MWE in-service
professionals.
