The Department of Planning and Environment—Water Group leads the NSW Government in providing confidence to communities and stakeholders with the transparent stewardship of water resources, provision of services and reforms that support sustainable and healthy environments, economies and societies across NSW.?
Join our highly skilled team and energised leadership group that will take innovation in water regulation to new a level.
You will play an instrumental part in strategically regulating the use and integrity of water resources in NSW. This role is in the Licensing & Approvals team, which focusses on the education, assessment, determination and management of licences and approvals and state significant developments under the Water Management Act 2000.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and like-minded individual with sound understanding of environmental assessment and regulation. You will have experience working with legislation such as the Water Management Act and Environmental Planning & Assessment Act and have sound stakeholder engagement skills.

- Occasional intra-state travel requiring periods of being away from home
