Job Description
- ​​​​​Creating surfaces, alignments, longitudinal sections, modelling piping networks and related drawings.
- Follow BIM workflow, QC process, issuing drawings to internal and external clients and managing electronic information
- Should undertake pipe network modelling (gravity and pressure networks) in Civil 3D oneself and resolve complexities associated with the model
- Should be able to extract schedules, reports of cut and fill quantities.
- Conversant with different input file formats for surface modelling
- Coordination between other disciplines
- Knowledge of vehicle tracking would be preferable
- Knowledge of Part builder would be preferable
- Knowledge of GIS would be preferable
- Work within time limits assigned to complete deliverables on time
Candidate Specification
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge and experience of working on water and wastewater systems is required
- Experience in UK projects is preferable
- Should be familiar with hydraulics & hydrological modelling system
- Must have hands-on experience in modelling pipe network in Civil 3D software
- Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise or BIM 360 shall be considered as added advantage
- Should be able to troubleshoot, guide and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects;
- Good communication skills and the ability to work oneself and as part of a team
- A professional attitude towards work and self-motivated​
- Be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skills
