Introduction
For more than a decade, Josh’s Water Jobs (JWJ) has been the trusted global platform connecting water professionals with jobs, consultancies, scholarships and internships. Today, JWJ receives more than 2.3 million views annually and has posted more than 90,000 opportunities across the water, sanitation, climate and environmental sectors.
Now, JWJ is preparing for its next phase: keeping jobs at the core while growing into a stronger platform, more integrated platform for career development, community building and sector-wide support.
To help launch this next chapter, an anonymous donor has committed to match organizational and individual contributions up to US $45,000, creating a timely opportunity for partners to help shape the future of JWJ.

Why this matters
Across the global water sector, organizations face growing workforce challenges.
- Difficulty attracting and retaining talent
- Limited pipelines for early-career professionals
- Barriers for job seekers in lower- and middle-income countries (LMICs)
- Fragmented access to opportunities and professional development
JWJ is uniquely positioned to help address these gaps. As a platform already used by governments, NGOs, utilities, universities and multilateral institutions, JWJ provides a central, trusted hub for connecting organizations with the people they need and for supporting the next generation of water professionals.
Strengthening JWJ strengthens the entire sector.
