The interactions of climate change with the evolution of society, economy, and technology are more and more challenging the management of the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, particularly in transboundary systems characterized by multiple and often conflicting users. The research will assess the anticipated impact of global climate adaptation policies at the river basin scale focusing on the assessment of potential gaps and the design of refinements and corrections. The developed methodologies will be demonstrated in the Nile River Basin as part of the PRIMA AWESOME project.
