GIZ International Services is shortlisted for the EU-funded tender: „EU support to reforms in water sector service” in Serbia.
The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is as follows:
The quality of life of citizens by raising environmental standards in Serbia to approximate EU levels improved.
The purpose of this contract is as follows: “To improve the efficiency of water services and to support the implementation of the requirements for cost recovery both at central and local level”.
Qualifications and skills:
- A level of education which corresponds to completed University studies in engineering or law.
General professional experience
- Minimum 7 years of postgraduate professional experience in a field which refers to: planning, developing, distributing and optimum use of water resources or water supply and sewerage infrastructure development.
Specific professional experience
- Professional experience of minimum 2 years as a team leader in reform of utility service system project worth at least 1,000.000,00 EUR.
- Professional experience of minimum 2 years on EU funded projects, or donor funded by IFIs.
The project office will be located in Belgrade from where most project activities will be undertaken. Certain activities under the contract will require occasional visits to the places outside of the place of operational base of the contract. These visits will be related to the pilot municipalities/towns that will be selected when the implementation of the project starts, within Activity 1.1
Start date & period of implementation of tasks
The intended start date is November 2021 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 24 months from this date.
