Position Title:  Assistant Professor of Water Resources (12 month, tenure-track)

Required Qualifications and Education: Ph.D. with expertise in fields of Geospatial Ecology/ Watershed Modeling or related fields, commitment to rigorous scholarship and excellent teaching.

Preferred Qualifications and Education:  postdoctoral experience, ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment, record of obtaining extramural funding for research and publishing in peer-reviewed literature.

Responsibilities – Essential Functions: 

Responsibilities include obtaining grant support for research, advising undergraduate and graduate students, teaching advanced courses in the applicant’s area of expertise, and publishing results in peer-reviewed literature. Applicant will also serve on academic committees (as appropriate) and perform community service.

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
