Task

We seek the support of a small team of UN Online Volunteers to translate the publication of business contributions to overcome water challenges - Approx. 15 pages from English to Portuguese. This is a report from the Water Business Day event that took place in Brasilia (DF), Brazil on March 18th, 2018. The event was organized by National Confederation of Industry (CNI) in partnership with the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS) and UN Brazil Network for Global Compact. The meeting was an exclusive business initiative, in preparation for the 8th World Water Forum.

Background and objectives

The National Confederation of Industry (CNI) in partnership with the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS) and UN Brazil Network for Global Compact organized a Water Business Day event that took place in Brasília on March 18th, 2018, in preparation for the 8th World Water Forum (8th WWF). This event explored business innovative approaches and solutions to cope with water challenges in the industrial sector. The event brought together high-level leadership. The outcomes of the Water Business Day was reported at a special session, during the 8th WWF. The Water Business Day Report includes key business messages with regard to water management and conservation; presents a brief summary of key session discussion points and provide general recommendations to prepare the business dialogue for the next WWF (9th WWF).

Requirements
Native speaker or near native skpeaker of English and Fluent in Portuguese. Minimal knowledge of technical terms (a technical glossary will be provided). Credit to the volunteers on the final document should be agreed before initiating the online collaboration
