Position Overview

The Program Data Coordinator is responsible for managing and analyzing Lifewater’s water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) program data. This collaborative, detail-oriented individual will be instrumental in maintaining data quality, supporting evaluation efforts, and sharing program data with internal and external stakeholders. The Program Data Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include:

Data Management and Reporting

  • Review and clean program data; resolve any data errors or inconsistencies
  • Track programmatic indicators and achievements; update relevant records and reports
  • Transform and visualize data to inform decision-making
  • Update data collection surveys in collaboration with Global Programs Team
  • Compile data for various program review meetings
  • Support global staff with data for reports, government evaluations, and presentations
  • Support Development Team with grant writing, program data requests, and general project updates
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation for data processes

Data Analysis and Evaluation

  • Analyze pre- and post-project study data
  • Contribute to drafting and review of pre- and post-project reports
  • Support implementation of pre- and post-project studies, as well as other monitoring and evaluation projects

General Programs Support

  • Support programmatic knowledge management efforts
  • Support curricula development and updates to program training materials 
  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness of current processes
  • Manage any other program projects, as assigned

Work Experience and Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Adherence to Lifewater’s statement of faith
  • Passion for Lifewater’s mission of serving vulnerable communities and children
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience, or coursework, in statistics, informatics, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills; highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly (e.g., project management and data collection tools)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal cross-cultural communication skills
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided

Preferred Qualifications

  • Competency in cloud-based systems and tools (e.g., Microsoft Suite, G-Suite)
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Experience, or coursework, in international or community development, WASH, or related field
