About the role

We are now looking to bolster our impressive reputation by creating a dedicated ESG and Sustainable Finance Practice. Seahorse is currently working alongside major players in this area, including ShareAction, the Green Finance Institute and WWF through the pioneering APPG on Sustainable Finance, as well as Conduit Capital. Building on this work, the Practice would accelerate Seahorse’s existing offerings to major businesses in The City that are looking for an alternative to traditional financial PR and public affairs.

The head of this practice would work closely with our other Energy and Ocean practices on interconnected issues to ensure Seahorse becomes a leader in this important, yet exciting, emerging space. We want to be seen as the most credible and fully integrated agency across the media, Westminster, NGO community and business sector.

This role is a unique opportunity to start and grow an impressive team within a fast-paced agency that can provide an unparalleled service to major clients operating in both ESG and sustainable finance. Building on Seahorse’s existing portfolio of purpose-driven clients, the role will enable talented individuals to lead on credible green projects and generate true impact across the sector as well as the wider economy.

The scope of the practice from greening finance to financing green can be defined by the candidate with a clear idea of their vision for the growth based on their experience and understanding of the market.

Seahorse’s Founder and MD is member of the Cabinet Office’s Parliamentary Coordination Group for COP26, Advisory Board for the APPG Sustainable Finance and a member of E3Gs Political Working Group on Net Zero UK Finance. She would be keen for Seahorse’s Head of Sustainable Finance to join these meetings and to network with these groups to share intel and grow awareness across the sector.
