The Policy Officer – Water Markets is responsible for developing a robust evidence base for policy decisions, synthesising complex and diverse information, developing innovative policy solutions and providing input into a variety of water policy matters as they relate to water markets in the Murray-Darling Basin. The Policy Officer – Water Markets will provide policy, legislative and management advice to senior managers and executives on the application and interpretation of water policy, planning and use. The role assists with the agency’s contribution to national and state level water policy and legislation, in particular in relation to Murray-Darling Basin water markets.
Contract: Up to 30 June 2022
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
$80,830 min p.a. to $89,897 max p.a.
