Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Geography at UCL is a research-led department with an international reputation, offering innovative teaching programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The UCL Department of Geography is seeking to appoint a one year fixed term Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Physical Geography from 1 September 2021. The Associate Lecturer (Teaching) will work on a range of undergraduate and Master’s physical geography modules, particularly in environmental pollution and fresh water ecology, to cover the teaching and academic administrative duties of an academic staff member who is away.
This is a 0.5FTE post (18.25 hours per week) available for one year with a start date of 1 September 2021.
The position will support physical geography teaching across the department. The Department encourages applications from physical geographers, environmental scientists or geoscientists, especially those who have expertise in environmental pollution and fresh water ecology.
Applicants must demonstrate an aptitude for teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
