Character of Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate expertise and scholarly interests in areas related to hydrology and hydraulics and water resources topics and to develop and teach curricula in those and other related Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) areas. In addition, duties will include advising students and developing an externally funded research program in his or her area of specialization. Furthermore, an ability to contribute to other general learning outcomes including engineering laws, ethics, economics, and sustainability would be considered as an added asset.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Civil (Water Resources or related) Engineering from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent, evidence of scholarly achievement, and U.S. professional engineering registration or capability of obtaining the Guam registration within a reasonable period of time is required. Must be willing to teach online.
