EY has a well-established Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice to respond to our clients’ growing need of guidance in this area, including greenhouse gas emission verification, assurance over sustainability-related data, and sustainability strategic advisory. We are looking to expand our team of professionals focused on providing high value, independent, trusted advice to our clients as they transition to a more sustainable economy. Working in a team environment, assist clients in their efforts to identify, measure and appropriately manage the business and reporting risks they face as they respond to changing stakeholder expectations and environmental and greenhouse gas regulations.
Identify and communicate trends, developments, and key performance drivers relevant to the client. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the client’s industry and marketplace.
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills. Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams.
Support client relationships, conduct business development and manage accounts.

Ability to analyze complex or unusual issues in the context of client engagements and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions.
Ability to undertake environmental and social audits (e.g., GHG and sustainability report assurance).
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management skills
Ability to take a pragmatic approach to issues that underpin client relationships while demonstrating and living the firm’s values.
1-2 years of experience in sustainability (e.g., environmental consultant/auditor, environmental engineer, or corporate responsibility consultant).
A degree in engineering, environmental science and/or other appropriate academic major is desirable, preferably at the graduate level.
Previous experience for a public accounting firm or consulting practice, or particular business/industry experience is desirable.
Oil & Gas, energy, forestry and mining industry experience is an asset.
