Project Manager (Sustainable Water Management)
Salary – £37,000 - £42,000 plus benefits

CIRIA is internationally recognised for providing thought leadership in the delivery of sustainable water management and blue/green infrastructure. We achieve this by bridging the gaps between policy, science and practice through our guidance, training, events and other initiatives.
CIRIA is recruiting for the role of Project Manager to take a leading role in improving the delivery of:
Integrated water management
Flood risk management
CIRIA is a not-for-profit membership based organisation with a market leading reputation for developing and disseminating good practice across the construction and built environment sectors. We work collaboratively with government, regulators, building and infrastructure owners and operators, the construction supply chain, NGOs and universities.
CIRIA project managers engage with stakeholders to understand performance improvement and guidance requirements in particular topics. They secure the funds necessary to commission new initiatives and, working collaboratively, develop and deliver these projects via different formats and media.
The position is, first and foremost, a people role working with senior and experienced professionals. You should be passionate about water management and/or blue green infrastructure, hold a relevant degree with several years’ relevant experience, resulting in a good understanding of the policy, technical and communication opportunities and challenges in these areas. You should also be willing to use your own initiative, be a confident and competent networker and communicator with a focus on delivering high quality impact. Experience of business development and fundraising is desirable.
