We now have an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated water/environmental consultant to join our Gippsland office. The Gippsland office services clients from Warragul to Mallacoota, working with specialist teams within Water Technology including Integrated Stormwater, Floodplain Management, Coast and Environment, Hydrogeology and Waterways and Ecology. Essentially this covers all things concerning the management of surface water and groundwater within our environment. Our Gippsland office works with a mix of government and local private clients. This is an exciting role because it gets fantastic opportunities to do a wide range of interesting work and the benefit of working for a technically excellent consultancy while living away from the rat race in a beautiful regional location!
Key Responsibilities of this role may include:
- Project management of a range of water, coastal and environmental studies
- Engagement and workshop facilitation
- Time and budget management
- Technical analysis including water modelling and GIS
- Report writing
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proven project management skills
- Engineering (Environmental or Civil) or Environmental Science degree
- Strong interest in effective and innovative water management
- Experience in modelling packages (TUFLOW, RORB, MUSIC and 12d) is desirable
- Ability to work autonomously
- A commitment to delivering outstanding service & quality to our clients
- Interest in being located in the Gippsland Region
The ideal candidate will have the right mix of technical expertise and communication skills to translate our incredibly interesting and technical work into formats that can be understood by our project stakeholders.
