The School of International Development (www.uea.ac.uk/dev) is recruiting as part of its strategic plan to strengthen its teaching and research. This post will contribute to the environment and international development areas with applications encouraged from those with interests in water resources and/or climate change.
The key function of this position will be to take on a leading role in the development of our Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching and to enhance our research capacity in the areas concerned. Applications can be for ATR (Academic Teaching and Research) or ATS (Academic Teaching and Scholarship) depending on your profile and in addition to your main specialism, we expect successful applicant to have the potential to contribute to other strategic areas of teaching in the School.
The School welcomes applications from candidates who can demonstrate outstanding achievements in research, teaching and potential with a robust intellectual and professional achievement commensurate with the level of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, a strong and rising international reputation, or potential to achieve this within the next five years, a flexible and collegiate approach to work, and (for ATR posts) research interests which fit within the School’s international development research profile http://www.uea.ac.uk/devresearch.
