The Technical Lead WASH is responsible for the overall leadership, management and implementation of the WASH program to deliver on water, sanitation, and hygiene sector goals. The position will oversee technical and program delivery by PHD program staff by implementing partners, and support the Australian Embassy’s WASH policy dialogue with the Government of Timor-Leste, to support strategy development and management of sustainable rural water service delivery and improved household and institutional sanitation.

Key Selection Criteria
For your application to be considered by the panel, interested applicants must submit a response to each of the following Key Selection Criteria:
KSC 1. Postgraduate Degree in Water Resources Management, Water Engineering, public health and/or environmental health
KSC 2. Substantial program management experience (at least 10 years) in rural water management, sanitation and hygiene applied in international development context.
KSC 3. Ability to lead and implement a complex WASH program with proven results in integrating with other cross sectoral program activities.
KSC 4. Exceptional interpersonal skills developing and maintaining effective relationships with highly diverse stakeholders and partners; together with exceptional writing skills and ability to provide high quality reporting for a diverse audience
