The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo invites applications for a full time postdoctoral position in water resources engineering for the 2018-19 academic year. The successful candidate will have teaching, research, and department service responsibilities for one academic year. Requirements include a Ph.D. in civil engineering or environmental engineering or a closely-related field, currency in the field, and the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a number of the following areas:
- Introduction to Water Resources Engineering
- Open Channel Hydraulics
- Water Distribution Systems
- Stormwater Management
- Hydraulics Laboratory
- Transport and fate of pollutants
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in civil engineering or environmental engineering or a closely-related field, currency in the field, and the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in several water resources engineering-related areas.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching and research experience is highly desirable. Please specify area of research expertise and teaching experience.
