The School of International Development (www.uea.ac.uk/dev) is recruiting as part of its strategic plan to continue to build its internationally recognised research in environment and development.
The post holder is required to have strong intellectual and professional achievement commensurate with the level of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer and a strong and rising international reputation. 
For Senior Lecturer you must have a PhD or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant discipline or subject area, and for Lecturer a PhD or equivalent level of qualification as above, or be nearing completion with award within 6 months of commencement. You must also be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification for the post. 
The post is available on a full time indefinite basis from 1 August 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Lecturer: £41,212 to £47,722 per annum
Senior Lecturer: £49,149 to £56,950 per annum
