We’re looking for an energetic, passionate, and confident individual who likes to work independently and as part of a team to deliver the protection and restoration of rivers in Derbyshire.
We are an organisation that is passionate about championing resilient living landscapes, inspiring people to connect with nature and defending wildlife and need a team that is ambitious and energised to deliver this for Derbyshire. Living Rivers are at the heart of what we do and we have a programme of work that needs to be delivered by someone with ambition and energy.
This role would give you an opportunity to work within the Living Landscape team to develop and deliver a Living Rivers restoration programme of projects. You will work closely with our Living Landscapes Regional Managers to develop and deliver projects for Rivers with a particular focus in the Derwent Valley.
You will need a broad background for this challenging and rewarding role. You will require knowledge of landscape scale conservation, delivering projects on the ground with partners and landowners, obtaining funding and be prepared to work with partners to protect and restore the beautiful and iconic rivers of Derbyshire. We are keen to hear from anyone who do not currently have significant river restoration knowledge but are keen to learn as significant guidance and training is available for the right candidate.
