The Lincolnshire Rivers Trust (LRT) is a small but ambitious environmental charity dedicated to the protection and enhancement of rivers within Lincolnshire. The number of projects led by the LRT has grown significantly over the last 4 years and as such the trust is looking to take on another member of staff.
As a project officer, you will be working with partners, contractors, farmers and volunteers to deliver river restoration projects and engagement activities. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, experience of working with volunteers, relevant practical experience of environmental enhancement or creation projects. An understanding of water environments and, ideally but not essential, a related qualification would also be desirable.
The post will require frequent travel around Lincolnshire and therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential. Mileage expenses will be paid in accordance with the HMRC non-taxable levels. Some evening/weekend work will be required.
To apply, please send your CV with a covering letter via e-mail to [email protected] by 12pm on Friday 9th February 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 1 week of the closing date.
