We are seeking a positive team player who is enthusiastic about leading and contributing to hydrological forecasting and modelling issues, and has a proactive, problem-solving attitude. The successful candidate will have experience (3-5 years post-PhD) in hydrological sciences and forecasting, excellent technical skills, experience with research and consultancy projects concerning hydrological modelling and forecasting, and preferably a working knowledge of hydrological modelling and forecasting tools used in New Zealand (e.g., TopNet), and of water and flood management practices and policies in New Zealand.
We are offering competitive remuneration benefits, free parking at our Christchurch office and the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative and professional team.
