|Member Duties : Plan and deliver a number of environmentally related outreach and educational events and be responsible for developing themes and planning event publicity. Clarifying messages and outcomes, research and develop hands on activities along with arranging logistics and obtaining supplies. Schedule volunteers and coordinate with partners along with leading presentations and service learning opportunities. Take the lead in organizing and completing the two hour Second Saturday event planned for each month. Organize and support the delivery of five to six additional outreach events over the service term. Support the operations of the county-wide student watershed monitoring network which may include participation in field visits with schools and assist with the coordination of Watershed Congress. The member will assist as needed with onsite student field trips and teacher workshops including service learning and stewardship activities. Develop exhibits and research related to above functions.|
