Position Overview

The role of the Great Waters Challenge Coordinator requires the following key skill sets:

  • Superior project coordination skills, to support development and implementation of many aspects of the Great Waters Challenge, working with direction from the previous project leader and guidance from the Executive Director.
  • People management skills, as the coordinator will communicate and manage the newly selected Youth Advisory Board (volunteers) from provinces/territories across Canada with whom they will be closely corresponding and coordinating to deliver workshops in schools in communities.
  • Proven communication skills to prepare and share all material pertaining to school documents, guides, communication with teachers, developing content, ensuring adequate communication within the Youth Advisory Board team and increasing engagement strategies aligned with broader engagement goals.
