Expression of Interest Consultancy Services - Health & WASH Support to Health Facilities and Emergency WASH Support to IDP Communities in Syria

This Expression of Interest solicitation is open to all eligible consultants, in accordance with SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL recruitment procedures.

The objective of this consultancy is:

  • To evaluate how project aims and objectives have been achieved
  • To undertake an evaluation of project quality within the framework of DAC evaluation criteria
  • To identify best practices and make detailed recommendations and lessons learnt for future implementation

The consultant will be recruited by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL for a period of approximately 30 to 40 working days from the 10th of July, 2017 and works under the direct supervision of the Deputy Head of Mission.

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL invites consultants to apply for the provision of services as described above. Interested consultants must submit their CV providing information on their capacity and experience showing that they are qualified for the services (documentation, references for similar services, experience in similar assignments, availability of qualified staff, etc.).The project under review includes WaSH and Health component, and it is therefore expected that the selected consultant will have the capacity to evaluate the relevance and quality of the project in the two programmatic areas. However, if one area has to be favored, SI would give priority to the evaluation of health activities.

A short list of 4 consultants will be drawn after the call for expressions of interest and the consultant selection process will follow the rules and procedures of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL for the use of Consultants. It is noteworthy that the interest shown by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL for inclusion in the short list.
