The Shaping Sustainable Markets research group drives IIED’s efforts to ensure that markets promote sustainable development at local and global levels, rather than undermining it, by addressing issues of market structure, environmental externalities, power, access and rules of operation. Our work comes under two main thematic areas: environmental economics and the private sector.

The group is looking for someone to coordinate finance, administration, communications, and support the group manager. The post-holder will primarily be responsible for finance, including budget management, financial planning, reporting, monitoring and procurement.

To succeed in this role you must have a degree or equivalent level of education, as well as proven relevant work experience in coordination and strategic support roles.

Along with the ability to manage complex financial reports and budgets, you will have excellent IT skills, organisation skills and the ability to arrange and provide logistical support to meetings, seminars and workshops. Please see the job description for further information.
