The Philippines Fellow will help Green Empowerment during a transition of programs in the Philippines. Approximately 50% of the fellow’s time will be dedicated to supporting the existing Field Team in the close-out of a large, 5-year USAID-funded WASH program that is set to conclude in September 2017. The Building Climate Resiliency in Water Stressed Communities (CREST) – reached 35,000+ people in 30+ communities with innovative water delivery systems, sanitation facilities, and training. The remaining 50% of the fellow’s time will be spent identifying and securing funding for new program opportunities in the Philippines in the areas of WASH, renewable energy and complementary environment and community development. The fellow will connect with existing partners, identify potential new local partners and engage the Philippines field staff to design new projects. This position will represent Green Empowerment in the field and plays an important role in expanding our impact in the Philippines, building off of 15 years of projects.
