We are recruiting for a consultant(s) to undertake a mid-term review of the WASH Promotion Interventions for Rural Communities project in Lesotho.
BRC has worked in partnership with Lesotho Red Cross Society (LRCS) since 2006, supporting the implementation of HIV and Food Security Programming, Disaster Response and Emergency appeals, in addition to contributing to organisational development. Through funding from the Australian Government (DFAT), under the global Civil Society Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Fund (CS WASH Fund), and in partnership with Australian Red Cross (ARC), BRCS has been supporting LRCS with a four year water, sanitation and hygiene promotion project in rural communities in Lesotho, which commenced in July 2014.
The objectives of this mid-term review are to:
(i) assess the relevance and appropriateness, effectiveness, Value for Money and sustainability of the WASH Promotion Interventions for Rural Communities in Lesotho project; and
(ii) capture learning and identify recommendations in a practical way, enabling us to improve the project under the remaining implementation period (to June 2018), strengthen the project exit strategy to ensure ongoing sustainability, and enhance our future WASH programming in Lesotho and beyond, and share this learning with the wider Movement and sector, which will ultimately enable us to more effectively achieve our mission.
Please share the attached ToR with your networks.
Applications should be sent to Jackie Rodriguez Garcia, BRC’s Country Support Officer for Lesotho, Zimbabwe and South Africa on [email protected].
The deadline for receiving applications is Sunday 30th April, interviews are anticipated to take place on Thursday 4th/Friday 5th May, and we would like the consultant(s) to start work as soon as possible after that.
