WASH Program Manager

Objectif général du poste

Under the supervision of the Emergency Field Coordinator, you will be responsible to identify and implement high quality and relevant WASH activities with a high coverage, in conformity with overarching strategy and the standards set internationally, by ACF and by national policies, to implement and monitor emergency WASH activities in urban and high security context.

Principales responsabilités
  • Monitor and supervise of water trucking activities in Mosul city, design and set-up of water network rehabilitation activities
  • Design and implement MEAL activities, including complaint mechanism and monitoring system to ensure its effective implementation and satisfaction of the communities
  • Work in remote team management from Erbil
  • Work in high security context
  • Work in relation with local authorities and health actors
Correspondez-vous au profil que nous recherchons ?

You hold a Diploma equivalent to Master in a field related to WaSH and you have a significant experience in WaSH activities, and at least 2 year in a managerial role in emergency context. You demonstrate the ability to train and develop teams. You have knowledge of humanitarian WaSH, project management. Experience in security management is an asset.

Recognized for you good organizational skills and strong training and capacity building skills, you are able to ensure effective organizational representation at different levels. As you work on remote area, you have to easily integrate with remote areas living conditions.

Disciplined and able to work and arrive at decisions autonomously and with minimal guidance, you also have strong capacity to work in tense conditions and high insecure and volatile context.

Fluent in English required.

Conditions spécifiques / Rémunération

Salaried – Gross monthly salary ranging from €1600 to €1975

Specific Allowance (12% Gross Salary) is granted for this position.

Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective accommodation and medical insurance

25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year

Contexte de travail:

Semi remote management for the moment (on the field maximum 2 times/week, could evolve quickly). The base could be transferred to Mosul accordind to context evolution.

A team of 10 in Mosul + 1 DPM, FSL activities should start in May and MHCP in June, full base for remote management in Erbil with support team (3 in Admin, 6 in log), other activities in Khazer camp.
