AECOMis currently seeking a WASH Infrastructure Specialist for an anticipated USAID-funded water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) activity in Mozambique that will focus on four key objectives:
Increase availability of functional water and sanitation infrastructure in health facilities and communities;
Increase use of health-promoting WASH practices, including increased demand for sanitation in rural communities;
Improve management of water infrastructure and;
Improve planning and monitoring of WASH services.
TheWASH Infrastructure Specialistwill work under the direction of the COP and will be responsible for technical oversight of the construction-related activities focused on increasing availability and functionality of water and sanitation infrastructure to health facilities and communities.
Hold an advanced degree (Masters or higher) in engineering, architecture, or related field;
At least five (5) years of expertise in designing and construction water and sanitation infrastructure of a similar scale in the Mozambican context;
Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, in both English and Portuguese.
