The Stakeholder Engagement Officer will be responsible for prioritising, coordinating, and conducting landholder, indigenous stakeholder and broader community consultation and engagement activities related to large scale environmental works on the Murray River floodplain from Nyah to the South Australian Border.
Mallee CMA is seeking applicants who are highly self-motivated and resourceful, have a proven history of successful outcomes in both stakeholder engagement and project management and who have excellent negotiation and liaison skills, with the ability to motivate others.
The role requires an appropriate tertiary qualification in Natural Resource Management / Agricultural science or related discipline and/or a minimum of three years practical experience in a relevant field.
The position is available on a fixed term 24 month basis (extension subject to funding). The position is classified as Band 7 – Band 8 with a salary between $68,200.00 – $80,350.00 dependant on qualification and experience, plus 9.5% superannuation.
