Civil Works Program Specialist, Senior
Provide program support on USCAE civil works program. Provide technical support during proposal development and conduct client engagements to identify challenges and develop solutions. Support work with other agencies that manage water or develop and execute policies and programs related to water. Provide subject matter expertise on Civil Works projects related to the need for new and modernized water infrastructures, including the areas of integrated water resource management, flood risk management, water security, water conflict management, water scarcity management, and trans
-boundary water issues. Collaborate and consult with federal agencies, NGO’s, and other organizations involved with water policy and program and project execution. Help to identify a portfolio of water
-related opportunities, develop and execute call plans to shape these opportunities, and engage in capture efforts. Contribute to the development of intellectual capital for water programs and vet ideas and accomplishments with industry through participation in professional forums. Develop and expand relationships within the firm across markets to understand available resources and support the development and delivery of innovative solutions.
-10+ years of experience with directly supporting US Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works Program
-Experience in working and communicating with high
-level officials in the USACE and other federal agencies, including working groups, task forces, senior leader briefings, and inter
-Knowledge of the US Army Corps of Engineers navigation program and other business lines
-Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Economics
-Experience with navigation planning and studies for US waterways, including intermodal transportation studies, economic analysis studies, or studies of navigation infrastructure
-Possession of excellent critical thinking and Problem-solving skills
-MA or MS degree
