About the Role
As a Policy Officer, you will support the development of policy and legislative reviews as well as contribute to the provision of policy advice relating to water management and regulation.
The Water Policy team works in a matrix approach and there will be an opportunity to work on projects led by senior staff with diverse experience.

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate your capacity to analyse and define policy problems and develop and analyse options. You need to have experience working with legislation and be able to demonstrate your capacity to develop knowledge and understanding of the Water Management Act 2000.
Ideally, you will also demonstrate the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders as well as being able to provide advice on issues that are complex, sensitive or technical.
